Beautiful Sorta I realize thanks to the kindness of Ryan there probably will be a board feed of this show posted eventually, but I thought I’d share my version for a couple of reasons. First someone might want to use it to create a matrix. Secondly, I was sitting in an area where people actually came to the show to listen, and that resulted in a quiet audience interference wise tape. Also I think it come out good. There are some negatives. I was in the third row. At Nokia in the past that wasn’t so bad as they have what look like center channel speakers along the front of the stage that pump out a monitor mix usually heavy on vocals. This helps with the fact that you are sitting so close the sound is really over your head. The speakers were there, but they were not being used for this show. The result is that Ryan’s vocals are pretty buried. This improves as the show goes on, but it is really bad at first. If you listen closely people are shouting for him to turn up his microphone, so it may have been a condition in the hall, and not just up front. This was a great show that might have been as good if not better than the classic in Dallas last October. Ryan was in a good mood, joking with the audience. This show also has the first encore of this tour, at least that’s what Ryan said. The banter is hard to hear, but the music is nice. If those front speakers had been used I daresay this might have approached greatness. Tracks don on the fly, so they are not close to perfection. I left all banter either at the beginning or end of each track. Enjoy.
